Why We Couldn’t Stop Thinking About Tencel

Spring Is Here: Meet the Mirri
Every season has that one piece. Not necessarily the most embellished. Not the most formal. Not the one reserved for special occasions. The piece you keep reaching for without thinking. The one that somehow works whether you’re heading out for coffee, packing for a weekend away or wandering through a market abroad in the late afternoon sun. This spring, for us, that piece is the Mirri.
When designing Mirri, we weren’t thinking about trends. We were thinking about how women actually dress when the weather warms up. When suitcases need to be packed lightly. When comfort becomes just as important as looking put together. When days stretch longer and life feels a little slower.
The result is a reversible kimono-style abaya that feels effortless in every sense of the word.
One side is washed in earthy slate blues melting into deep umber browns. The other combines oxidised sage greens with rich espresso tones. Both colourways feel grounded and natural, inspired by earth rather than fashion forecasts. They’re the kinds of shades that work beautifully year after year, never feeling tied to a particular season or trend cycle.
The fabric itself played an equally important role. Mirri is cut from Tencel, one of the world’s most sustainable fabrics. Soft against the skin, breathable and naturally cool to the touch, it is perfectly suited to warmer days when heavier fabrics can feel restrictive. It drapes beautifully, creating movement without bulk and comfort without compromising on elegance.
For many women, spring and summer dressing can feel surprisingly complicated. You want something lightweight, but not flimsy. Relaxed, but still polished. Easy to wear, but interesting enough to feel considered. Mirri was designed with exactly that balance in mind.
The reversible design makes it particularly useful for travel. Whether you’re packing for a city break, a family holiday or simply trying to maximise space in a suitcase, having two looks in one garment feels undeniably practical. It offers versatility without requiring extra thought, allowing you to spend less time planning outfits and more time enjoying where you’re going.
Perhaps what we love most about Mirri, however, is the feeling it creates. There is a certain ease to it. A relaxed confidence. The kind of piece that doesn’t demand attention yet always looks intentional. Thrown over simple separates, paired with sandals on holiday or styled for everyday wear at home, it adapts effortlessly to the rhythm of warmer days. Comfortable, versatile and endlessly wearable, Mirri is the kind of piece we imagine reaching for all season long.
